Birmans are very loving, social, and people-oriented cats. They like to be around their
owners (or perhaps more appropriately said, the people they own!) and the everyday
happenings of their home. A Birman makes the perfect companion and pet. They are
moderately active cats. Their activity level is neither high like the Abyssinian, nor low
like the laid back Persian.
Even though they are considered a long haired cat, they are easy to groom and care for.
Their silky coat is not prone to matting. A weekly grooming with a metal comb is all
that is needed to keep your Birman looking great.
Sapphireblue Birman kittens are CFA registered, and are sold with a written contract
and health guarantee. All of our cats and kittens are FeLV and FIV free. Pet kittens are
$600.00 and can leave for their new homes between 14 and 16 weeks of age. A
non-refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve a kitten. When our kittens leave for
their new homes they are current on their immunizations, fully weaned, litter box
trained, scratch post trained, and very well socialized. They are given a complete
health examination by our veterinarian and, if possible, will be spayed or neutered
before they leave. We do not allow any of our Birmans to be declawed and they must
always be kept indoors.
Kittens are periodically available in any of the following colors: seal, blue, chocolate,
lilac, and lynx points. We do maintain a waiting list for pet kittens. If you would like
to be placed on our waiting list, please feel free to contact us.

Available For Adoption:
Sapphireblue Five For Fighting (Hammer) will soon be available for adoption.
Hammer is an extremely affectionate male who was going to be a stud boy, but we have
recently decided to have only one male at this time. He will be available after he is
neutered. Hammer will be $300 and should go to a new home with no other cats.
Please call if interested in adopting Hammer. He can be viewed on the "Studs" page.
