We are very proud to introduce Shakandah Bronte of Sapphireblue. Bronte is a chocolate lynx
point who comes to us from Anne Davis of Shakandah Birmans in Melbourne, Australia. After
many months of corresponding and anxiously awaiting, Bronte made the very long journey,
across many time zones, to the United States in December of 2004. We are very thankful for
this handsome guy and look forward to all of the gorgeous babies he will produce!  Thank you
Anne, for entrusting us with Bronte!

If we could have put our order in for a future stud, Center Ice would be exactly what we
ordered!  Center Ice (Icey) has all the attributes that a show/stud cat should have.  He has a nice
long and stocky body, wonderful head type and ear set, amazing eye color, strong profile, and
roman nose.  Icey also has a gorgeous coat, and near perfect show markings.  What more could
you ask for?  In his first four kitten shows, he was highest scoring Birman kitten in show.  We
are expecting and hoping for great things from this handsome guy!
July 29, 2006:  Icey became a GRAND CHAMPION at only 8 months of age at the Midwest
Enthusiasts of Wonderful Sphynx show in Elgin, Illinois!  Icey earned the last few points
needed in judge Gene Darrah's ring during breed judging and went on to the final to be named
BEST ALL BREED CHAMPION!!!

SHOW NEWS:  We are very proud to announce that Icey was HIGHEST SCORING BIRMAN
IN CHAMPIONSHIP at the annual Sacred Cat of Burma Fanciers show in Medina, Ohio on
August 27 & 28, 2006!  He was also voted "Exhibitors Choice" for best Birman in
championship by all of the Birman exhibitors that weekend!  Icey was Best of Breed in 5 of 6
rings, winning the brown ribbon over some very nice Birmans, including his two sisters!  By
the end of the weekend, Icey could not be seen in his show shelter, behind all of the beautiful
rosettes that the club had awarded!
